I think these two have amazing chemistry but they also portray the awkwardness of a first time. It showed both Eddie and Rose in a realistic light, which I admire on both their parts. Awesome performance!

There was a comment on another upload that said that they didn't buy the eddie and rose from an acting standpoint and I heavily disagree. I'd actually say that this is one of the best examples of acting a relationship on stage I've seen. Rose's actor has this really natural charisma and quirkyness that makes her awkwardness believable and honest. Eddie has a really good sense of movement and he plays his role really well without being too much -- I could imagine it would be really easy to go a little too far and play Eddie out as this completely devoid of emotion asshole. He finds the balance really well. Beyond that, these two clearly have a connection that is clear because the actors themselves are clearly wrapped up in their counterpart and not getting wrapped up in how well they are performing etc. etc. They build off eachother really well.
